My name is Emamuzo Okerri. I am a self-taught product designer and front-end web engineer. I am passionate about developing digital experiences that improve the lives of users. My dedication to the improvement of everyday life keeps me always open to learning as much as I can to improve the quality of work I offer. I love to be professional in everything I do and also love to work with people.
I was born into a family of creatives – my dad, a graphic artist and mom a fashion designer – which exposed me to a lot of knowledge about the arts and design. Being a very curious child, I was always fascinated about the work my parents did and learned pretty much everything. At the age of 12, I was already very proficient in the use of CorelDraw and worked with my dad on some interesting projects.
Though I was made to pursue my education in engineering, I still always had an inclination for the arts and design. While in university, I took up gigs in graphic design and animation, to gather more knowledge and experience, which got me my first job as a motion graphics designer immediately after my university education.
The desire to harness both my engineering and design skills is what led me into product design. It presented me with an opportunity to be technically creative. Since 2018, when I first stumbled on product design, I have been learning and applying what I’ve learned to projects. I’ve gathered knowledge and experience in Information Architecture, User Interface Design, Interaction Design and User Research

Please note that these are estimates based on tests I have taken in the past and experiences from past projects. They might not reflect the exact level of proficiency, but they’re really close.
